P2 - E - Production Schedule with Launch Date and Contingency Plans

Production Schedule 

The production schedule is as follows below, it consists of 1 week one and one week off. So filming will start on Monday the 4th of September 2017 and finish for that week on the Sunday the 10th, filming will then continue in a week later on the 18th of October. Only 25 days have been set aside for the filming, this is 3 whole weeks and 3 whole days as this is the length of the series that will run from the first of December to the 24th of December.

The main production schedule suggests that filming will finish on the 18th of October ready to be edited however dates have been set aside for re filming. These include Monday 6th – Friday 8th of November 2017 each day 3 hours of filming can be done if needed.

P2 - C - Target Audience

Target Audience

I used a questionnaire to find the average age of people who watch YouTube and would be interested in a new chat show hosted by famous YouTubers. To help to confirm I have the right target audience I have created and distributed a questionnaire consisting of relevant questions so I can find out what the ideal target audience is for my Christmas chat show. I know my news channel/chat show will be PG and therefore will be appropriate for all viewers no matter the age of my viewers however I want to be able to tailor my show towards my viewers.

This results I obtained from my questionnaire prove that teenagers aged 10 - 17 would be an ideal target audience for my Christmas chat show.

This graph compares some of the results I received, it shows that the target audience is wide and teenagers aged from 10 – 16+ would be interested in a Christmas chat show hosted by YouTubers. This means my content will have to be diverse to suit different aged teenagers.
